Description: A search and screen committee process for recruiting and hiring unclassified personnel at Stout was first adopted in the 1960's. The purposes were to establish criteria for candidates for the position; conduct a thorough search for potential candidates; make necessary contacts and investigations to secure a number of outstanding candidates; arrange for the final review of a selected group of candidates; and advise in the selection of the most qualified candidate. Included in this collection are recruitment papers, evaluations of applicants, correspondence minutes of meetings and other materials used in selecting Deans for the Schools of Home Economics, Education, Liberal Studies, Industry and Technology, and the Graduate School.
